Luke Bryan was born on July 17, 1976, in Leesburg, Georgia. His full name is Thomas Luther Bryan and was the youngest son of a farmer. Bryan was always interested in music, at an early age. Influenced by iconic country artists such as Alan Jackson, Conway Twitty, and George Strait, he honed his skills as a singer-songwriter and started performing at local venues. His talent quickly caught the attention of industry professionals.

When he was 14, Bryan’s parents bought him a guitar, and it wasn’t long before he was good enough on the instrument. In high school, Luke Bryan performed in musicals and wrote his own songs. When he was just 19 and ready for his big move to Nashville, his older brother, Chris, was killed in a car accident.
